This is probably one of my favorite purchases for many reasons. It has 191 levels, it makes you think, controls are solid, and customer support.( They have online walkthroughs because you will get stuck!). 5/5 for sure!

One of the best games available on the iPad by far. Tons of very challenging levels, great controls, classic 2d game.
Still waiting for a sequel! This game is amazing!
I dont normally leave reviews on games I like, but this is my absolute favorite game!!! My five year old loves it too. This is all she ever plays!!! I cant wait for more levels!!!!!
It is so much fun for days of entertainment.
I would love to play this with a keyboard, but the ipad controls are so painful to use that it diminshes the enjoyment of the game. Give us some more options like one of those moveable joysticks. At least give an option to turn off the variable arrows... Why do they even disappear?
Great pixel art; loving it on my iPad. The complexity builds gradually, as do your characters abilities. Tons of levels, and clever puzzles, some really tough and satisfying to think through! Well worth a buck or three. But... there is also a lot of needless aggravation when it comes to the non-thinking challenges. One problem is the pink bubble: the control is intentionally vague and floaty for that "character," but theyve gone a step further and made it bounce back hard from every wall. That means youre often asked to be super precise... with an object that isnt precise. You also have to dodge things much faster than your bubble is. Some levels devolve into essentially luck-based speed runs with that bubble, and they are VERY frustrating. If it bounced less, youd have more of a sense of control, and less sense that the game designers are just making you start over endlessly out of cruelty! And I do mean cruelty: your regular character has save points, but the bubble does not! I feel at that point like Im working on beating those levels out of compulsion instead of fun. A problem with the on-screen D-pad makes this extra frustrating: if you move your finger too far off center, it re-centers and your bubble just drops. And during those speed runs, its instinct to move your finger farther sometimes. With other games, the D-pad doesnt "let go" no matter how far you move your finger; until YOU let go. Thats how it should be. Right now, the detection area of the D-pad is quite tiny, and straying from it means death. Lastly, multitasking support is badly needed. Right now, if you exit the app and come back, all your work on the current level is lost! Not fun after you finally made it through a really tough stretch. Tweaking those aspects would make this one of my top games.
Make it easier to control. Controlling the bubble is a nightmare. Very frustrating. If the dev could fix this it would be a 4-5 star game that I would recommend.
Excellent graphics and gameplay.
Ive loved this game ever since day one. By far one of the best games for the iPhone. Way underrated. Please make a sequel or more levels!!!
So whats up. Been waiting patiently for some new levels
Love this game. But please fix loaded Runner level 6. No matter what I try I can get my bubble to hit the switch to move on to the next half of the game. Im about to break my phone trying!! Some of the levels are really hard. And the bubble is sometimes hard to control. Please make it easier. I can control Archie best in his pod. Please make more levels!!!
So far, this has been the best game I have found for the iPhone. It is only one of a couple of games I didnt get bored of before finishing (although I did have to get help for the most difficult levels). I hope to see a sequel or even more bonus levels added! Since completing this game I have searched the app store for something that looks as compelling, but have yet to find it. I havent played this game in awhile, but an update for the iPhone 5 screen would be incentive to give it another run through.
Such an awesome game, best puzzle game for iPhone. Note ive beaten every level and theres no glitches, if you cant figure out a level try something different. In a lot of levels they put in stuff you dont actually need to solve it to distract you so if your stuck try something else
I know Im late to the party but hey, this is my first time playing Archibalds Adventures... And its PHENOMENAL! However, the experience is marred because the entire game is scrunched on the newer 4-in display with the screen surrounded by ugly black bars. This becomes especially apparent when reaching the second set of levels where youre introduced to the (extremely floaty) bubble which is virtually impossible to control on the newer, larger displays. And seeing as how this game hasnt been updated since 2010, I wouldnt hold my breath for an update regarding this issue. Perhaps an Archibalds Adventures 2?
Love this game, play it for the 3rd time and it keeps me entertained like nothing else! A+++++
Its been years since Ive paid attention to this genre of game. Graphics are clearly a labor of love. Gameplay is fun, smart and challenging. Only thing Id wish for is a hint button. This game is a delight for which a sequel is eagerly awaited.
Very fun and addictive game. Recommending.
Thanks for the game. Really enjoy it
my Czech brethren. But can you make the display flip over when I turn my iPod over? I usually play while plugged in, and being right-handed, I like to play with the plug on the left side.
